Author & Artist Emma Horne

We are delighted that Emma Horne of .two blue dogs designs will be popping up in our Pop-Up Bookshop and gallery at the Royal Hotel, Tain on Tuesday 12th September from 12 noon until 2 p.m.

Emma currently works from her home studio near Tain. The changing vista and panoramic views from the beaches where she walks her two collies, are a constant source of inspiration for her paintings while her stories are inspired mostly by her dogs and life in the Highlands.

They provide an overflow for my imagination and give me a perfect excuse to write and illustrate all kinds of adventures for her dogs and cat'.

Window Art

We love the window art designed and applied by local volunteer Clair Wallace. A beautiful addition to Tain High Street.
