Introducing Finn

Featuring in the Art Exhibition in Portmahomack, which is a brand new element of the 2023 St Duthac Book and Arts Festival is Finn Robinson (b.2000, Inverness, Scotland). Finn is a former pupil of Tain Royal Academy and graduate from the Glasgow School of Art in 2022 with a First-Class Honours Degree in Painting and Printmaking. Following a successful degree show, he was selected for the RSA New Contemporaries 2024 exhibition and awarded the SaltSpace Graduate Residency Award. Since graduating he has completed a funded residency with SaltSpace, been shortlisted for Bloomberg’s New Contemporaries, and exhibited across the UK. He was commissioned by the Society of Scottish Artists to create a piece of work for their 130 Year anniversary exhibition which was shown at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh, enjoyed a successful solo show in Glasgow, and, most recently, Finn exhibited in 'Cheek by Jowl’, an exhibition curated by Juliet Wilson as part of BWG Gallery’s "Fine Wine, Fine Art and Fine Conversation” event series held in London.
