Putting Out There - Media Coverage for the Peninsula

With the year we've all had, in this stop start society - due to you know what, we were nervous about publicising the festival. We started slowly through the market events and with 6 weeks to go we went all out and sent out a press release to contacts in the media and literary world.

Once we got the hang of it we shared a further two press releases and bombarded social media through the old faithful - Facebook and Twitter. We also put out posters and brochures from Inverness up to Golspie and moving inland we went as far as Bonar Bridge.

The response to this, our first festival, was phenomenal, thanks to the book and art lovers out there.

Window Art

We love the window art designed and applied by local volunteer Clair Wallace. A beautiful addition to Tain High Street.
