Teller of Stories - Isla Plumtree

In Islas own words she is a "retired teacher, waitress, barmaid, laundrymaid, kennel maid, Post Office/bookshop assistant, venue caterer...I now enjoy macro photography, growing tulips, lepidoptery, Darjeeling tea, Bach and ballet. I can't dance, sing, draw or sail, but once upon a time I cooked for a King. At heart I'm a teller of stories."

Pop along to our pop-up bookshop on Thursday 14th September from 1 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. to meet local author and storyteller Isla.

Window Art

We love the window art designed and applied by local volunteer Clair Wallace. A beautiful addition to Tain High Street.
