Coinneach MacLeod, aka the Hebridean Baker, recently announced his television presenting debut which will air this autumn in a brand new culinary travel series, Hebridean Baker: Nordic Islands.

The four-part series, which will see MacLeod joining a crew on an Arctic fishing boat and baking cakes fit for a princess in the Baltic, will be released in two versions: a Gaelic-language edition airing exclusively on BBC ALBA and BBC iPlayer, and an English-language version.

“His cheery demeanour, and his delicious recipes, mean that we are all hugely looking forward to seeing him in action.

“The news of his upcoming television series just goes to show that the people of Tain know what many more outside of the Highlands are about to discover - that we have great taste!”
