Fabulous Jen Stout

Anyone who attended Jen Stouts event at the 2024 St Duthac Book and Arts Festival will not be surprised to learn that Jen was announced as the deserving winner of The Saltire Society First Book of the Year Award for Night Train To Odesa: Covering the Human Cost of Russia’s War.

We are absolutely delighted for Jen who enthralled our packed audience in September 2024.

The Saltire Society announced the winners of Scotland’s National Book Awards 2024 at a ceremony in Central Hall, Edinburgh on Thursday 28 November. The ceremony was hosted by Coinneach MacLeod, otherwise known as The Hebridean Baker.

Window Art

We love the window art designed and applied by local volunteer Clair Wallace. A beautiful addition to Tain High Street.
