Julia McGhee - Morrich Project

Julia will be in Pipers Coffee House on Sunday 17th September to bring an film and artist talk as a fringe event during the St Duthac Book and Arts Festival week.

Julia is an artist based in Inver, near Tain, who works across choreography,

performance and participatory practice. Through her current work, The Morrich

Project, she has been collaborating with other artists in the fields of dance, film and

experimental music to investigate her emotional response to Morrich More – an area

of land near her home that is both a protected area of natural beauty and forms part

of Tain Air Weapons Range. During this event, Julia will share her screen dance

work ‘Beach’ and talk about some of the complex themes that The Morrich Project

uncovered.

Window Art

We love the window art designed and applied by local volunteer Clair Wallace. A beautiful addition to Tain High Street.
